He also has held various administrative roles that included being the nurse manager in the emergency department, electrophysiology/cath lab, and quality management. During his 2013-2018 tenure as a quality management specialist for Lenox-Hill Hospital, he created the “Sepsis Toolbox” that was presented at the High-Reliability Conference in Washington DC and was implemented throughout the Northwell Health System. As an aspiring provider, he obtained certifications in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and critical care. He completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing, and then pursued graduate studies to become a nurse practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, he has practiced as a hospitalist within the Northwell Health System and in urgent care clinics. He holds various hospital privileges throughout New York City and serves as a consultant for several health care organizations. During his free time, Mr. Aldrich enjoys fitness, traveling, reading, scuba diving, skydiving, and spartan competitions.

Mr. DéFournoy also has experience in various patient care settings roles and administrative roles as a pediatric/adult visiting nurse, med-surg, telemetry and nursing management. With his love and compassion for helping others, he was one of the first nurses to travel around the country to help hospitals in dire need during the Covid-19 pandemic. Growing up with an immigrant mother who worked in healthcare to help others and raise her kids, Mr. DéFournoy was inspired by her hard work, ethics and commitment to the patients. Working as a nurse today, Mr. DéFournoy brings these values taught to him as he continues to serve the communities in need. Mr. DéFournoy is committed to new innovative ideas to bring evidence-based care to all his patients.

Dr. Barrera brings with him his experience and passion in executive leadership and healthcare to create strong, sustainable, professional, and accessible healthcare to the Staten Island community. He has a track record of founding, opening, leading and managing health care companies to a level of great sustainability, professional relationships and revenue. In addition to his role at OneCare Health- Advanced Practice Health and Wellness, Dr. Barrera currently, serves in both clinical and administrative roles in hospital and private practice
settings, seeing patients, leading teams, service lines and departments.
He served as the founder and CEO of Speedy Sticks, LLC a New York City based, nationally operating, mobile health care concierge company from 2020-2021, before he sold his shares/interests in the company. Between 2017-2019, he served as the founder and CEO of HealthCare Navigation Consultants until its absorption by a non-profit. He is known to regularly participate in pro-bono work and community service. He is a sought-out industry leader in laboratory medicine, chiropractic medicine, concierge medicine and healthcare administration, serving as a consultant for various private sectors, healthcare professionals and institutions. He is also currently pursuing his master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health policy and management from his graduate alma mater, The University of Bridgeport. He is a contributing expert author for FindaTopDoc, writing on various topics such as: healthcare leadership, laboratory medicine, urgent-care medicine, higher education and chiropractic medicine. He holds appointment as an adjunct faculty member at The City University of New York- The College of Staten Island. Dr. Barrera teaches students
in the following courses/topics: laboratory medicine, phlebotomy, anatomy and physiology, biology, and medical terminology.
